Dr. Kaplan’s Blog #3: Collective Intelligence vs. the Coronavirus

Collective Intelligence, as described broadly in Episode 3 of the World Think Series, is a key piece of the Planetary Intelligence story. But it also has immediate implications for solving some of our current pressing problems. The video series, Collective Intelligence vs. Coronavirus, was my first attempt to describe some applications of Collective Intelligence to the problems posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Most of this first series was hastily shot, unscripted, in my garage. Saying that the “production value” is low, would be too generous. Yet the points, some of which were made in April of 2020 when little was known about Covid, remain valid. Although iQ Studios is committed to continuously improving its video production skills, we won’t hesitate to release videos with lower production values for experimental projects, or when it is urgent to get a message out.
